Grant 4 Year Deal - Chelsea Rebirth or Sentence?
On Thursday 13th December Avram Grant was given a 4 year contract as manager of Chelsea Football Club. The debate on whether this is good news or bad rages amongst factions of our club’s fans – both sets of supporters look to the future although events in the recent past prevent one group from embracing the change and a perceived lack of Grant’s credibility in world football curb optimism.

ECB AMEND REGULATIONS FOR 2008
While thinking of a topic for this article, it was suggested to me that I look at the amended playing regulations for 2008. These were released early last month and completely slipped under my radar as I’m sure they did many of yours. There are seventeen amendments in all, mostly mundane, but there are a few which are worth taking notice of, writes out new correspondent Nick Pryor

London Welsh vs. Northampton Saints - Preview

The Telos Network (TTN) and 4G Metro Form Alliance to Provide Trinity Railway Express Passengers a Wireless Network, Digital Media and Advertising
The Telos Network (TTN), a leading Silicon Valley integrated marketing solution provider today announced they have entered into a strategic partnership with 4G Metro, LLC of Granbury, Texas, a supplier of WiFi metropolitan-scale wireless service offerings. As exclusive providers, they will install Internet access and a digital sign network in the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) rail cars, and interactive kiosks in major route train stations. The TRE is a commuter rail line, jointly owned by the Fort Worth and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), operating between Dallas and Fort Worth. The Telos Network has on-board and train station programming responsibility for news, weather, sports, special events, promotional, entertainment, and advertising. 4G Metro will install the full range of hardware required for the mobile and fixed wireless broadband network throughout the Dallas metroplex.
