A safer barrier
Its an unavoidable fact of oval racing: there is a wall all around the outside of the track. Its there to protect the fans from the cars, but the price for that protection has often been paid in careers - and sometimes lives - ruined for drivers unfortunate enough to hit the wall at speed.

California Foreclosure Report Notes Big Lender Discounts In November
ForeclosureRadar today issued today its California Foreclosure Report which showed a total of 12,282 properties with a loan value of $4.91 Billion dollars sold at auction in November. In addition to a review of foreclosure stats and county rankings, the California Foreclosure Report notes a significant rise in lender discounts at the foreclosure auctions. Department Of Homeland Security (DHS) Begins Collecting 10 Fingerprints From International Visitors At Washington Dulles International Airport
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is now collecting additional fingerprints from international visitors as part of the department's upgrade from two to 10 fingerprint collection in order to enhance security and improve accuracy. Dulles International Airport became the first port of entry to collect additional fingerprints from visitors on November 29, 2007. Ten-fingerprint collection will begin at 287 other U.S. ports of entry by the end of 2008. DHS's US VISIT program, in cooperation with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is leading the transition to a 10 fingerprint collection standard. DHS uses biometrics--digital fingerprints and photographs--to prevent the use of fraudulent documents, protect visitors from identity theft and stop thousands of criminals and immigration violators from entering the United States.
